Zemrah Songstress

Blessed with a smooth and sultry sound, Zemrah has been singing, performing, and perfecting her musical style since early childhood. She hails from the rich musical jazz town of Chicago where her deep love of musical expression was cultivated.

Zemrah became the lead female vocalist of the duet “Fire & Ice” and was selected as the “Crown Royal #1 Female Vocalist of the Year”. She has continued her career as a solo artist, from opening for Nancy Wilson, to having her own concert. Her passion for music is obvious and her experience is evident. She continues to perform at large and small venues in the Midwest.

Below is a brief summary of a few of her musical accomplishments.

• Performed with The Bob Guntry Quintet as the opening act for the legendary jazz artist Nancy Wilson, in the 3000 seat venue at Country Club Hills Theatre.

• Performed at the Regal Theatre

• Feature performer at Epitome Chicago for “Jazz Against Domestic Violence”

• Executive produced her first CD, entitled “Irresistible Zemrah”.

• Feature performer at the Rumba Supper Club, to a “standing room only” audience, at the Release Party for the “Irresistible Zemrah” CD.

• Zemrah’s “Here’s To Life” Concert - Prairie State College Auditorium

Zemrah is available for corporate events, fund-raisers, private parties, weddings, and other special occasions.
